Settle It lets two players resolve a decision by racing to solve the same cipher. You choose a category and optional stake, then duel in real time.
Before You Start
- Open the Settle It tab to create or join a duel.
- Choose a main category and decision type (or enter a custom decision).
- Share the 6-digit duel code with your opponent.
Step-by-Step Play
Create a duel
Select a category, decision type, and optional stake, then create a duel code.
Join with a code
Opponents join using the 6-digit code shown in the lobby.
Ready up
Both players tap Ready before the duel begins.
Race the timer
Enter guesses on the shared cipher before the time and attempt limits run out.
Review the outcome
The duel ends with a result summary and the decision text.
Understanding the Screen
Duel code panel
Shows the active duel code, decision text, and player readiness.
Live status bar
Shows attempts, timer, and progress during the duel.
Progress meter
Displays best exact and total matches for each player as the duel progresses.
Keypad + submit
Use the keypad to enter guesses and submit when the row is complete.
Win, Lose, or Complete
- The first player to submit the exact secret number wins the duel.
- If time or attempts run out, the winner is determined by best exact matches, then total matches, then attempts used and timing.
- If a player leaves, the duel ends early and is marked as forfeited.
- If no opponent joins in time, the duel expires and must be recreated.
Scoring and Results
- Settle It is about the decision outcome, not leaderboard scoring.
- Result summaries highlight attempts, timing, and the final decision text.
